                      复制人偶的年份

    Film making is never easy and each film has its own journey.
    The journey of TAARE ZAMEEN PAR began with Amole Gupte. Having spent
almost 7 years in close contact with children, Amole had a story to
tell. A story that he nurtured for over two years, and was born out of
his close association with children and what I see as his love of
childhood. Deepa Bhatia, Amole’s wife and the editor of this film,
worked closely with Amole in researching and developing this sensitive
portrayal of a child’s world. In this process of development Amole and
Deepa were helped and supported by countless teachers, parents and
children.

                              ——观《地球上的星星》有感

   I came into the picture maybe around 3 years ago when Amole entrusted
me with the job of producing the film. Amole and I go back a long way,
almost 25 years I think, when we were in college together. I have known
him as a senior in college, as an actor who I have high regard for, as a
painter who I am a fan of, as a writer who has moved me tremendously,
and as a colleague who has shown faith in me, helped me, and has stood
by me during the making of this film.

   While Amole has written what I think is a brilliant and moving
script, his contribution towards the film is not limited to that of a
writer. The entire pre-production was done by him including the most
important task of creating the music which he did working closely with
Shankar, Ehsaan, Loy and Prasoon. He has been present on set throughout
the shooting of the film as the Creative Director, and has been a big
support and a strong guiding force in my debut as a director. I thank
him for that, and more so for having the faith in me by entrusting to me
something that is so close to him.

当伊夏壹再惹事,或John打输网球决赛时,阿爹失望的口角、质问的眼力,都让作者脑中流露着这一个词——控制欲。不仅仅是因为她们愿意子女成功他们不完善的想望,更是因为在那快节奏的现世生活里,1切模式化、条理化,他们的眼中仿佛容不下3个不按常理出牌的儿女。但她们不了然,或也不想了解,不按常理出牌的伊夏患有读写障碍。闹铃响起的首先声,以为熟睡的双眼却机械般地睁开,他们像机器人般按程序执行着1天的任务,不疏不漏,毫无心绪。但当镜头转向伊夏时,无可掌握控制的肆意与色彩又再现我们的前头,他喜欢发呆幻想,喜欢不紧非常快,而那却令她与那竞争剧烈的临时格格不入。父母希望能操纵孩子不错读书,控制他安安分分成长,控制他改成医师、工程师或公务员,老师则盼望能决定学生鞋子保持光可鉴人,控制他集中注意认真上课,控制他考试高分,而在那1三种的控制下,孩子自笔者就像也期望控制本身,John在输掉竞技中的一句“sorry”不就在发挥他无法控制自个儿变成赢家的歉意吗?叛逆期的大家,曾经多么讨厌被操纵,但随着年纪的增高,大家偶尔也会想,被控制着成长也没怎么倒霉,起码仕途坦荡、衣食无忧。是呀,生活,就像磨石刀,总能将大家变得平平整整光整。有时听到关于改良教育体制的小论,小编却在想,当儿女作者也壹度上马害怕立异、害怕变化时,制度的改造又费劲呢?

   I thank each and every member of the cast and crew of this film.
Almost all of them have been part of this project not merely on a
professional level, but with the emotion of having been moved by the
script and wanting to be a part of the telling of this very important
story.

控制欲的膨大伴随的却是掌握的缺乏。他们只知道孩子破坏了她们的主宰权力,却不愿去询问造成这1后果的前因,是因为从没花武功不卖力,照旧因为用劲却还是难以达成呢?而不被掌握的伊夏,仿佛屡屡惹祸于课堂,直到被教授轰出去罚站前一刻,伊夏向门边的同校爆发胜利随机信号般的“yes”,小编才晓得那是她对达人不满的报复与疏导,是他对被关切被清楚的渴望。

   I thank every parent, teacher, and child who may not be directly a
part of the cast and crew of the film, but has nevertheless contributed
towards the making of this film.

伊夏宛如八只迷失在逃荒中的羔羊,望着妻儿在摩肩接踵的狭缝中付之1炬,他的要紧、慌张和惨痛,或者没被统统忽略,但老人家将标题束之远方,难道就是毋庸置疑的拍卖方式呢?难怪近年来的老人家动不动就把不便驯服的子女送出境,傻傻地认为难点的远离正是斩草除根,却不知难题的根源还立于原地。

   All of us together have made a film that has enhanced our sensitivity
towards children, and we hope that it does the same for everyone who
sees it.

       电电影发行体制作一向都不是1件简单的事,并且每部电影都亟需有3个关于它们本身的旅程。
      《地球上的一定量》的旅程初步于Amole
Gupte先生.他花了7年时光与儿女们接触,并告知了小编们这一个轶事。为了那几个传说,他钻探了两年多的小运,固然那些子女并不是她协调的,但他却与孩子们创制了牢固的友谊;他像是回到了自身的小儿权且。Deepa

       当Amole写好了那几个本子给本人看时,笔者以为那是三个独立的同时能够打使人迷恋心的本子,他对此本片的孝敬未有仅限于二个大诗人的行事范围,而是一心将本片的沉思放在了第三位。在那之中包含无与伦比根本的二个环节:为本片创造插曲。他诚邀Shanker、Ehsaan、Loy、Prasoon来成功那项工作。在本身拍照摄像时,他直接在自笔者身边,给笔者提供全部创设性的提议。并且在笔者初次当编剧的情状下,他给予了自个儿鼎力帮衬,是自身的硬气后盾。我道谢他为本身所做的1体。通过此次她委托笔者的那件事,特别扩充了自小编的信念。

影片简介:
    Ishaan Awasthi is an eight-year-old whose world is filled with
wonders that no one else seems to appreciate; colours, fish, dogs and
kites are just not important in the world of adults, who are much more
interested in things like homework, marks and neatness. Ishaan just
cannot seem to get anything right in class.
    And so, he gets into far more trouble than his parents can handle,
and is packed off to a boarding school to ‘be disciplined’. Things are
no different at his new school, and Ishaan has to contend with the added
trauma of separation from his family.
    One day a new Art Teacher bursts onto the scene, Ram Shankar
Nikumbh, who infects the students with joy and optimism. Hebreaks all
the rules of ‘how things are done’ by asking them to think, dream and
imagine, and all the children respond with enthusiasm, all except
Ishaan. Nikumbh soon realizes that Ishaan is not happy being at school,
and sets out to discover why. With time, patience and care, he
ultimately helps Ishaan find himself.

    Armir Khan Born on 14th March 1965, Aamir Khan completed his
schooling at Bombay Scottish High School, and his HSC from N.M. College
of Commerce.
    An enthusiastic sports person he represented his school and/or
College in Lawn Tennis, Cricket, Football, Field Hockey, and Table
Tennis.
    At the young age of 18 he began his career in films as an assistant
director to one of India’s most successful directors Mr Nasir Husain.
After 4 years of training as an assistant he acted in his debut film
Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak. QSQT released in 1988 and was a huge success
catapulting Aamir to overnight stardom.
    In a career now almost 20 years Aamir has acted in over 30 films and
has consistently been one of the biggest stars of the Indian screen. His

    In 2002 he was awarded the Padma Shree by the President of India,
one of the highest civilian honours.

Darsheel Safary
    Born on March 9, 1997 Darsheel Safary attends Green Lawns High
School in Mumbai, India.
    Darsheel made his acting debut in Taare Zameen Par as the
mischievous and charming Ishaan Awasthi.He was selected after a process
of extensive screen testing of almost five thousand children. His
heartwarming performance won him immense critical acclaim and popularity
making him an instant star and garnering him several awards
includingFilmfare (Best Critics) Star Screen (Jury’s Award & Best
Supporting) Rajiv Gandhi Award (Best Child Protege) and Kesari Gaurav
Samman – for his performance in Taare Zameen Par and increasing social
awareness at such a young age
    Darsheel has been felicitated by Green Lawns School, for his
performance and for his role in increasing awareness on Dyslexia.
    Darsheel’s hobbies include reading, playing football and UNO. He’s
an avid Play Station and X Box fan. His talents include poetry,
elocution, singing and dancing. Darsheel is currently acting in Bum Bum
Bole, the Indian adaptation of the acclaimed Iranian film, Children of
Heaven.

TAP Production Notes(拍录手记):
    1. The casting of Taare Zameen Par was extremely critical, and
finding the perfect child for the main protagonist was the most
important aspect of the casting.Aamir Khan Productions went through five
thousand kids overall, at children’s workshops, schools and through
casting agencies, and Darsheel was first spotted at Shiamak Davar’s show
by Aamir Khan and Amole Gupte, and he was called for an audition along
with loads of other kids who tested. As soon as Aamir saw the very first
shot of the screen test of Darsheel Safary, the child’s expressive eyes
made him realise the character of Ishaan had been found.
    2. After the first week of shoot, Aamir Khan took over as director
from Amole Gupte whose script it was and who was originally directing
the film, as there were certain creative differences that had cropped up
during the shoot between Aamir and Amole; selecting a new director on
short notice would have not only been difficult but to induct a
completely new person in would have taken time, and as a result they
would lose the child as he would grow up in the process.
    3. Working with children isn’t easy, and a workshop was conducted
with forty kids for one month before the shoot, so that they would be
comfortable both with the script and with the shooting process.
    4. Children with severe disabilities that took part in the film
shoot in the title song, actually rehearsed for a month preparing for
the shoot which coincided with their annual day celebrations. AKP
arranged for the coreography team of Shaimak Davar to rehearse with the
kids for that one month to prepare not only for the shoot but also for
their annual day. The sequence was shot with a seven camera setup.
    5. Aamir consulted and worked closely with the Kate Karawala of
Maharashtra Dyslexia Association and Medha Lotlekar, special educator
who runs two schools Saraswati Mandir Trust and Tulip school, to
understand the problems faced by children in the country, and to
understand the Indian education system, with all its strengths and
weaknesses.
    6. The Maharashtra Dyslexic Association was consulted to understand
details of the learning disability and its symptoms, so that the film
would be completely accurate in its depiction.
    7. The film was shot in Mumbai and Panchgini (a hill station close
to the city); while Ishaan’s house was in Mumbai, the boarding school he
is sent off to where he encounters Nikumbh was in Panchgini. The real
location of New Era High School was selected, with all the children of
the school becoming players in the film.
    8. Aamir selected real locations to give the film a look and feel
that was natural, especially since the children could be themselves and
not ‘act’, which was what the film’s script needed.
    9. Kiran Rao, Aamir’s wife, was the associate producer on the film,
and stood by him handling the production while Aamir could concentrate
on the creative process of the making.
    10. While Darsheel was a great actor and a complete natural, he had
a lot of trouble crying, and that was the only area that Aamir had to
work on J.

Ishaan Nandkishore Awasthi
    My name is Ishaan and I am 8 years old. I love colours, fish, shiny
things, dogs, golas, spaceships and kites. I love to draw and paint and
be bindaas. I don’t want to go to boarding school. I promise I will try
to study harder.

Nandkishore Awasthi
   My father goes to office and works very hard. Sometimes he brings me
presents. He gets very angry when my teachers from school complain. Papa
says that only Boarding school will teach me DISCIPLINE.

Maya Awasthi
    Mama loves me very much. I also love mama. She makes me good food
and looks after me when I get hurt. I do my homework with her. She is
very sad that I have to go to boarding school but she thinks it will be
for the BEST.

Yohaan Awasthi
    I love my Dada. Dada is a very good student. He wins lots of prizes.
Dada also plays tennis and cricket. Dada works very hard and studies
everyday. I am very proud of him. He also looks after me . I love
Dada.

My Teachers
    My teachers think I misbehave. They like to put red marks all over
my books.

Ram Shankar Nikumbh
    Nikumbh sir is very nice. He doesn’t scold me like the other
teachers. He has a very nice smile and he likes colours and fish and
dogs and painting too! Nikumbh sir taught me many new things which are
also fun. When I grow up I want to be like Nikumbh sir.

Rajan Damodaran
    Rajan is my best friend. He is very smart and intelligent and a good
student and always knows the answers to all the questions. He always
tries to be helpful to me.
